The ��ɫ����������ƵӰԺ softball team picked up its first win of the season Tuesday as the Eagles split a pair of games at Eastern Oklahoma, 4-2 and 1-2.

Kelsey Moulder got the Eagle offense started in first game as she sent a pitch over the left field wall for a two-run home run in the third inning.

Fans of ��ɫ����������ƵӰԺ Eagles Athletics now have a new way to keep up with their favorite teams. ��ɫ����������ƵӰԺ will use Twitter () to post game information, updates, and scores.

"Twitter is a great platform for sports news. Many people already use it on a daily basis and it is simple and free to follow.

A 3-6 performance by Austin White and strong pitching performances from starters Greg Milhorn and Kyle Neely helped the Eagles jump to a 2-1 record during their opening weekend of play.

?We didn?t hit the ball as well as I would have liked this weekend,? Eagle head coach Josh Stewart said.

The film "Delivered: Saved By Grace" will be screened at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday, Feb. 9 at 3 p.m.

��ɫ����������ƵӰԺ will host its second Education Summit on Thursday, February 7 from 7-10 p.m. in the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts. The general public is invited to attend. The Education Summit is the kick-off event for the ��ɫ����������ƵӰԺ strategic planning process that will take place over the coming months. Justin loves math and science, and he says his favorite day of the school week is Wednesday because he knows that in ACE (Afterschool Centers on Education) he has Robotics classes that day! Because Justin is such a math/science guy, the school?s CIS and ACE Site Coordinators both regularly talk to him about going to college after he graduates from high school.

The opening of Eagles baseball season is scheduled to get off to a quick start this weekend as ��ɫ����������ƵӰԺ hosts Cedar Valley for a double-header Friday afternoon before the Eagles take on Hill College in another double-header Saturday.
The Eagles finished up the Spring 2012 season with a record of 33-17, including a 26-10 mark in the tough Texas Eastern Athletic Conference, and ��ɫ����������ƵӰԺ will be looking to put together another great season in 2013.

?We have a whole lot of new faces around here but we are expecting the same kind of results from this team as we did last year,?
