Student Success will be hosting the Study Skills & Memory Improvement Workshop on November 7^th†from 12:25 ? 1:25 in H101 (The Community Room). Our very own John Russo will be presenting helpful tips and techniques that our students can utilize throughout the semester.

Students will get an opportunity to:

For the past five years our softball team has been a part of Titus County cares Food4kids program, helping to make sure children are eating over the weekend and giving them a better opportunity to excel in life.†Every Tuesday evening we sack †1,800 bags (plastic shopping bags) of food for children in the county and then organize to be delivered every Friday to the schools for those students to have a meal on the weekends. This is a program that we are passionate about as a team and program over the years.

We need your help! This year we are running low on plastic bags.

The Office of Student Activities†and Student Government Association is hosting a campus-wide food†drive October 30-December 6, 2017.

The ��ɫ����������ƵӰԺ Golf Classic raised more than $7,000 for the ��ɫ����������ƵӰԺ Foundation this year.† The tournament, held at the Daingerfield Country Club, consisted of eight six-person teams.† There was a two-way tie for first place between the Daingerfield Country Club Team and the team from Guaranty Bank and Trust. The tie breaker was settled on a score card play-off that was won by Daingerfield Country Club.

A ��ɫ����������ƵӰԺ sophomore recently defeated a senior university student to earn the right to represent regional honors students on the board of the Great Plains Honors Council (GPHC).

?Technology and the Brain? will be the focus of a Program for Learning and Community Engagement (PLACE) lecture on Monday, Oct. 30, at 12:15 p.m. in the Community Room of the Humanities Building on the ��ɫ����������ƵӰԺ campus in Mount Pleasant, Texas.

Dr. David Yells, provost and vice president for academic affairs at Texas A&M University-Texarkana, will be the guest speaker.

The free event is open to the public.

The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at ��ɫ����������ƵӰԺ will host the Vienna Boys Choir on Monday, Nov. 6 at 7:30 p.m. One of the oldest boys choirs in the world, it was founded in 1498 and has since delighted audiences around the world with music new and old.

The modern†Vienna Boys Choir†bears little resemblance to the original group of six boys invited to sing at the Viennese court many centuries ago. Today, the Vienna Boys Choir consists of 100 boys between the ages of ten and fourteen, from dozens of nations, divided into four touring groups.

Alicia Cantrell recently received the Walter B Cooper Scholarship at the Texas Leadership Conference. The Phi Theta Kappa conference, held on the campus of Texas Lutheran Unive

The ��ɫ����������ƵӰԺ Adult Education Program recently held its annual Lunch and Learn on the Lawn for GED and ESL students and instructors in conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness. The program will host student-centered activities and events each month to encourage staff and student engagement, to collaborate with local Adult Education supporters, and to promote Adult Education efforts in the community.
