Carroll Shelby Foundation gives $25,000 for scholarships

The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº Eagles Softball program will host an Alumni Game on Saturday, Oct. 11 at Eagle Field. All ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº Softball alumni are invited to come enjoy friendly competition and fellowship with the current team and coaching staff. † † †Rodeo fans will get to see more than 300 athletes from throughout the Southern Region of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA) compete for points and prizes next weekend as ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº its 25th annual rodeo. The event will be held October 9-11 at the Mount Pleasant City Arena on Greenhill Road.


† † †Rodeo action will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and at 2 p.m.

Women's soccer update

† † †The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº (ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº) Women?s Eagles Soccer team won two of four games this past week. The Eagles defeated Western Texas College and Paris Junior College, but fell to Jacksonville College and third ranked Tyler Junior College.

Pleasant Sams club gives scholarship

The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº Foundation recently received a $500 scholarship from the Pleasant Sams, the Mount Pleasant Chapter of the Good Sam Club of America. This year?s gift will benefit a student studying nursing at ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº. The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº (ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº) Men?s Eagles Soccer team split two games this week defeating Jacksonville College and falling to Tyler Junior College (ranked third in the nation) in overtime. The Eagles remain†ranked seventh in the nation according to the National Junior College Athletic Association coaches poll this week.
