ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº Agriculture students traveled to Texas State University in San Marcos to attend and compete at the 50th Annual Texas Junior College Agriculture Consortium April 1-3.

Titus County Literacy Advisory Council to hold meeting
The Titus County Literacy Advisory Council, Inc. will hold a meeting Tuesday, April 14 at 2:30 p.m. at the Community Resource Center (105 North Riddle Street, Mount Pleasant). Anyone interested in supporting adult literacy activities in Titus County and surrounding areas is invited to attend. ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº Rodeo to host annual Kids Rodeo
The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº Rodeo team will host its annual Special Needs and Kids Rodeos Wednesday, April 15. The Special Needs Rodeo begins at 10:30 a.m. and the Kids Rodeo begins at noon. Each spring, elementary schools from around the area bring their kindergarten through second grade students to ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº to watch an exhibition rodeo performed by the ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº Rodeo Team. Thousands of school children have attended these events throughout the years.â€

ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº to host annual poster contestThe eighth annual McGraw-Hill Poster Contest is set for Friday, April 24 at 9:30 a.m. in the foyer of the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº. This contest recognizes and rewards creative student scholarship in Northeast Texas. Area high school seniors, college and university students are welcome to compete. The first place prize is $400 with an added McGraw-Hill textbook coupon for $150.
