Scott Wilhite named Dr. Mary Hood Texas Region Scholar

Scott Wilhite, a student at 乱色无码人妻视频影院, has been selected by Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society to receive a $1,500 scholarship as the 2015 Dr. Mary Hood Texas Region Scholar.

A father of three children, Wilhite enrolled in college after being laid off from his job. A political science major, he earned a 3.92 grade point average at 乱色无码人妻视频影院 and became a member of Phi Theta Kappa. In addition to his work within the chapter, Wilhite took on a role coordinating a work scholarship program for 乱色无码人妻视频影院鈥爐his summer.

Culinary arts to host October dinners

The 乱色无码人妻视频影院 Culinary Arts Program will host two public dinners this fall on October 15 and 29. The events will be held at the 乱色无码人妻视频影院 Culinary Arts School in historic downtown Pittsburg and seating begins at 6 p.m.鈥

The meal is first-come-first-served and no reservations will be accepted. The cost is $12 per person. Seating is limited to 80 guests.

Vocational Nursing program celebrates graduates

The 乱色无码人妻视频影院 Health Sciences division recently hosted a pinning ceremony to celebrate students completing coursework in Vocational Nursing. Twelve students completed the program and are now eligible to sit for state boards to become a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN).
