The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº is thrilled to announce its 2025–2026 Heart of the Arts season. As ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº celebrates its 40th anniversary, the Whatley Center is marking the milestone year with an exciting blend of national touring acts, local talent, theatre productions, and art exhibits.
ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº (ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº) launched the 2025–2026 school year with a week full of excitement, connection, and community spirit.
ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº will be closed on Monday, Sept. 1st in observation of the Labor Day holiday. Offices will return to normal hours and classes will resume as usual on Tuesday, Sept. 2nd. We hope everyone has a fun and safe long weekend!
The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº women’s soccer team turned in a dominant performance on the road, defeating Richland College 4–1 on Saturday night. The Eagles controlled the pace from the opening whistle and never looked back, securing an important victory, heading conference play.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
Freshman striker Kirsheema Ince had a standout performance, recording a hat trick to lead the ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº attack. Ince opened the scoring in the first half and added two more goals after the break to put the game firmly in the Eagles’ control.
Welcome home, Eagles! ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº teamed up with the Living Truth Fellowship, the Mount Pleasant Titus County Chamber of Commerce and Titus Regional Medical Center this week to host a free cookout lunch for dorm residents and their families on move-in day.
The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº Continuing Education Department is now enrolling for its next HVAC Installer Helper Program, which begins September 23, 2025.
