The Adult Education Department at ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ is accepting new and returning students for its GED (General Educational Development) and English Language programs. Those interested in participating in either of these free educational programs should call to make an appointment for registration beginning September 29.  While classes are offered in various convenient locations around the area, all registration will be held at the Community Resource Center (formerly MPISD Administration Building) at 105 N. Riddle Street in Mount Pleasant.

Assistant Softball Coach/Assistant Housing Director

Description of Job Duties:

  • Reside in the residence hall and share on-call duties with the Director of Housing
  • Work cooperatively with the recruitment and admissions office in student recruiting
  • Create quality housing and softball programs which will attract students and student athletes to attend ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ
  • Assist with recruiting, organizing and practicing of players
  • Assist in creating an atmosphere that encourages all students and community members to become involved with the softball program
  • Assist with scheduling classes for all softball stu

Reporting to the College President, the Director of Institutional Effectiveness and Innovation collects, manages, analyzes, reports, and promotes the effective use of institutional data to serve institutional planning, budgeting, and evaluation processes designed to fulfill the college mission.

Alpha Mu Chi hosts district III PTK meeting at ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ

Alpha Mu Chi, ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ’s five-star award-winning chapter of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), hosted a District III meeting of the Texas Region on Friday, Sept. 12. District III includes the northeastern corner of the state, running from Texarkana down to near Waco. The meeting was also offered virtually to colleges in District I, which covers western Texas.
