Estefani Garcia was recently named the winner of the 2025 Elizabeth Chitsey Award, granted each year to the student of Honors Northeast who most exceeded expectations during their first year at ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ. The award comes with a $200 check.
The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ Eagles Softball team extends its sincere appreciation to and owner Chet Zachry, an ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ Baseball alum, for their recent upgrades to the college’s softball facilities. The improvements included a much-needed facelift to the bullpens and sprinkler system, significantly enhancing the team’s facilities.

The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ (ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ) Theatre Department invites the public to catch one of the final three performances of its spring production, The Importance of Being Earnest, by Oscar Wilde. This classic comedy of mistaken identities and social satire will be performed at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts on the ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ campus.

Alpha Mu Chi, ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ’s chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, won several awards at the Society’s recent international convention, known as PTK Catalyst. Eleven members traveled to Kansas City to attend the convention. Catalyst 2025 brought thousands of Phi Theta Kappa members, advisors, and supporters together to hear inspiring keynote speakers and celebrate the efforts of chapters from the United States and ten other nations.

The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ (ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ) Foundation has received a $360,000 gift from the estate of David and Pat Sistrunk. This generous contribution will establish the ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ Building Enhancement Fund, dedicated to supporting campus facility improvements and long-term infrastructure needs.​
