New Teen Driver's Education Academy starts soon

ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº (ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº) is excited to announce the launch of its new Teen Driver’s Education Program, offered through the college’s Continuing Education program. The course will run October 13 through November 6 and provides local families with a much-needed option for professional driver’s education without having to rely on parent-taught instruction.

Vet Assistant program graduates 14 students

The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº Vet Assistant program recently celebrated its second graduating class on Thursday, August 28th, 2025.  Fourteen new students recently graduated from the program (not listed as shown in photo):  Gavin Atkinson, Naomi Cole, Abby Creveling, Cale DeLisi, Madilynn Dunn, Vanessa Guerrero, April Lofton, Natalie Lopez, Judith Lowe, Yaritza Mendez Duran, Natalia Nava, Blaze Price, Violet Ramirez and Audrie Wright.

Four complete Professional Driving Academy

The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº Professional Driving Academy continues to grow and supply high-demand CDL drivers to the local area. Four new students recently graduated from the program. 

The four-week professional driving academy includes 160 hours of training and the cost includes the DOT physical, drug screen, MVR and CDL permit. Students spend 50 hours in the classroom and 110 hours on the road driving. The cost is $4,500 and financial aid may be available.

ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº delivers Drywall Repair Training for UT Health Pittsburg

ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº recently partnered with UT Health Pittsburg to provide a two-day, hands-on Drywall Repair Training for their facilities team. The training, held at the Hanson-Sewell Center in Pittsburg, focused on essential skills such as taping, bedding, spray texturing, and repair best practices.
