The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ Foundation recently received a $500 scholarship from the Pleasant Sams, the Mount Pleasant Chapter of the Good Sam Club of America. This year?s gift will benefit a student studying criminal justice at ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ. †Nita May, ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ Director of Development (seated far left) and Dr. Jonathan McCullough, ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ Vice President for Advancement (standing far left) receive the gift on behalf of the ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ Foundation. Former ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ Eagle Baseball player Matt Durst is having a great summer in the Valley Baseball League. Playing for the Charles Town Cannons, Durst was named D-Bat Player of the Week on Monday, June 17. According to a ,†Durst played in six games that week and recorded at least one hit in five of them. He finished the week batting .409 (9-for-22) with two double, a triple and a home run. The rising junior at Southern Mississippi added eight RBIs, four runs, a sacrifice fly and a stolen base.
