Breast Cancer Awareness Week†October†10-14, 2016

Here are some very creative and fun ways that the ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ family can support Breast Cancer Awareness. Join us in the fight to find a cure.

Two ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ sophomores have been named 2016 Coca-Cola Leaders of Promise by the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.

ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ recently learned that it was one of only nine community colleges nationwide to win†recognition†for its innovative agriculture programs by the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC).

As a recipient of the 2016 Green Genome Awards, ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ was specifically honored for Program Design and Delivery in Sustainable Agriculture. The award comes with a prize of $10,000, which will be used to further sustainable agriculture efforts at ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ.

"I am excited that our work over the past several years is getting national recognition.

The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ Culinary Arts Program will host a special Thursday Night Dinner on October 27. The dinner will be held at the ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ Culinary School in historic downtown Pittsburg and is open to the public.†

ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ was recently among all Texas colleges and universities by the website OnlineColleges.com. Colleges were ranked on a variety of factors including affordability, student services and availability of online programs.

ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ has drastically increased the number of online courses offered in recent years in order to better serve the changing needs of students.
