Two ��ɫ����������ƵӰԺ Biology 2289 students, Gracie Gray and Stephanie Hernandez, and Dr. Chris T. McAllister, Natural Science Division, traveled to the Ouachita Mountains Biological Station (OMBS), Big Fork, Arkansas, May 25-30, 2025, to continue their research on fish parasites from the Ouachita River watershed.

Whether you’re exploring a new career, returning to school, or adding skills to your resume, this short-term award gives you relevant, real-world knowledge.

Phi Theta Kappa members have until June 16 to apply for one of the 200 Leaders of Promise Scholarships. The $1,000 scholarship provides new Phi Theta Kappa members with financial resources to help defray educational expenses while enrolled in an associate degree program.

Time is running out! The first 5-week summer session at ��ɫ����������ƵӰԺ kicks off Monday, June 9, and it’s your last chance to register.

Whether you’re looking to catch up, get ahead, or lighten your fall course load, ��ɫ����������ƵӰԺ has a variety of online and face-to-face classes to fit your schedule.

��ɫ����������ƵӰԺ is excited to kick off the 11th year of its innovative Work4College Program. After holding orientation sessions earlier this month, 81 students will start the program on June 9th.  Of that total, 64 students will be working on the ��ɫ����������ƵӰԺ campus and 17 more will be working at local high schools.

Dr. Melissa Fulgham was among the over 400 historians from over 20 states who gathered at Texas State University in San Marcos for the inaugural Alliance for Texas History Conference. Fulgham, Professor of History and Division Chair for the Humanities and Social Sciences, continued her efforts to spread the story of Annie McLean Moores Towler.

Dr. Kevin Rose was officially named the sixth President of ��ɫ����������ƵӰԺ at the May board of trustees meeting on Tuesday, May 27th. He will transition from his current role as Senior Vice President for Student Success beginning June 1st.
