ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº Nursing helps out at TRMC Hearth Health Fair

The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº Nursing Program sent two faculty members (Amanda Shaw and Chrystal Brown) and 33 nursing students from the LVN and RN programs volunteer at the Heart Health Fair at Titus Regional Medical Center on Saturday, March 5th. ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº students had the opportunity to help the staff draw blood, take blood pressures, check glucose levels, and make the community feel welcome at the event.  The nursing program was fortunate to be invited and get to participate in this wonderful occasion and we look forward to participating again next year.

Frank Sexton Lodge #206 gives $2,500 for ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº scholarships

The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº Foundation recently received $2,500 from the Frank Sexton Lodge #206. Dr. Jonathan McCullough (right), ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº Executive Vice President for Advancement, is pictured receiving the check from Brother Tim Hall, Worshipful Master of Frank Sexton Lodge #206. The money will be added the Frank Sexton Masonic Lodge #60 Endowed Scholarship fund at ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº.  In addition, the donation will be matched dollar-for-dollar by a grant program that is designated for at-risk students, which doubles the impact of the gift from the Lodge!

Four graduate from Professional Driving Academy

The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº Professional Driving Academy continues to grow and supply high-demand CDL drivers to the local area. Four new students recently graduated from the program. Mt. Pleasant Art Society show planned

The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº Art Department will host the Mount Pleasant Art Society Annual Membership Show March 11-31 in the foyer of the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts. The competitive show features artwork from a variety of local artists. A reception will be held Saturday, March 12th from 2:30-3:30 p.m. in the Whatley Center Foyer. The gallery is open Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to noon. However, it will be closed March 14th-18th for spring break.

Jr. Delphian Club supports Work4College Program

The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº Foundation recently received a donation from the Jr. Delphian Club to support the Work4College Program. Jeanne Blevins (right) is pictured presenting the gift to Dr. Jonathan McCullough, ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº Executive Vice President for Advancement. The Jr. Delphian Club gift, along with any others made to the Work4College program, will be matched dollar-for-dollar by two outside foundations. This means double the impact for gifts of all sizes.
