The safety and security of students, faculty and staff is a top priority at ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ. In the event of a campus emergency, ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ will send Eagle Alerts via text, voice and e-mail through the IRIS dispatch system. Alerts are automatically sent to the contact information listed in the student or employee account on the . It is very important that everyone keep their phone number updated in order to receive emergency alerts.

The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ Computer Services team is urging the campus community to stay vigilant to avoid cyber-attacks. Recently, ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ has seen a dramatic increase in the number of spam and spear phishing e-mails sent to college accounts. According to Sebastian Barron, Director of Computer Services and Enterprise Systems, hackers are becoming increasingly sophisticated in their efforts to lure people to provide sensitive information.

ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ Women’s and Men’s Soccer teams returned to campus on August 10th to begin preparing for the upcoming season. Recently promoted Head Coaches, Heather Brady will oversee the Women’s program and Juan (JD) Perales will oversee the Men’s program.

ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ celebrated August 2022 commencement on Friday, Aug. 12 at 7 p.m. in the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts. A total of 94 graduates were awarded 57 certificates of competency and 61 associate degrees. Whitnee Floyd gave the student welcome and Courtney Baldwin delivered the student response.

ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ Athletics is moving to digital tickets for the upcoming 2022-2023 sports seasons. In an effort to help our fan experience, Eagle Athletics is now working with Hometown Tickets to provide online ticket sales.

Christi Denney recently presented the ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ Foundation with $2,000 to support the Nita DeWoody Memorial Scholarship fund. The money was raised through a 5K virtual event that was held last year and generous donations by local business sponsors.

The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Program has moved to a new location on campus. Faculty offices and classrooms are now located in the Instructional Annex building as follows:
