Have you always wanted to learn a new language? Now is the time to get started! The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ Continuing Education department is planning two language courses this fall.
ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ will host a job fair on Tuesday, September 20th from 11 a.m to 1 p.m. in the Student Union Building (SUB). The event is open to the public in addition to ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ students. Recruiters from local business and industry will be in attendance. The following have confirmed that they will be represented (more will likely be added):
The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ Career and Transfer team will host Annie Garcia, UT Tyler Admissions Coordinator, on Wednesday, Sept. 14 in the SUB from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is to help inform ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ students about what degrees UT Tyler offers and what requirements are needed for each degree. Mrs. Garcia will waive application fees ($60) for students who apply during her visit.

The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ Soccer programs will kick off the 2022 Regular Season on Wednesday, August 31st at 2:00pm hosting LSU-Eunice from Eunice, Louisiana.
Coach Heather Brady will lead the Eagle Women’s team this season who will quickly jump into Conference play on Saturday following the opening game with LSU-Eunice. Brady returns 11 players from last years squad to help lead the six freshmen newcomers.

Paisley McGee from ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ is one of 207 Phi Theta Kappa members named a 2022 Coca-Cola Leaders of Promise Scholar and will receive a $1,000 scholarship.
