Vet Assistant program graduates 14 students

The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº Vet Assistant program recently celebrated its second graduating class on Thursday, August 28th, 2025.  Fourteen new students recently graduated from the program (not listed as shown in photo):  Gavin Atkinson, Naomi Cole, Abby Creveling, Cale DeLisi, Madilynn Dunn, Vanessa Guerrero, April Lofton, Natalie Lopez, Judith Lowe, Yaritza Mendez Duran, Natalia Nava, Blaze Price, Violet Ramirez and Audrie Wright.

Tenth year of Texas Heritage National Bank Scholarships

For the tenth straight year, Texas Heritage National Bank, originally the National Bank for Daingerfield, has provided signal Presidential Scholarships for top students of the ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº Honors program.

And this year, for the first time, it has provided not just one, but two such scholarships.

Whatley Center kicks off season with RokDox concert Sept. 13th

The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts is excited to open its new season with a Sounds of Northeast concert featuring RokDox, an electrifying classic rock horn band, on Saturday, September 13th, at 7:30 p.m. This high-energy show will showcase iconic hits and dynamic performances from this talented group of musicians. Tickets are $20 for adults and $5 for students.
