Vet Assistant program graduates 14 students
The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ Vet Assistant program recently celebrated its second graduating class on Thursday, August 28th, 2025. Fourteen new students recently graduated from the program (not listed as shown in photo): Gavin Atkinson, Naomi Cole, Abby Creveling, Cale DeLisi, Madilynn Dunn, Vanessa Guerrero, April Lofton, Natalie Lopez, Judith Lowe, Yaritza Mendez Duran, Natalia Nava, Blaze Price, Violet Ramirez and Audrie Wright.
ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ expands free tutoring services
ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ is excited to announce an expansion of its free tutoring services for Fall 2025. Beginning Monday, students can now get help in Statistics and Spanish, in addition to a wide range of existing subjects.

Men's Soccer picks up first win against Texas Southmost College
The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ men's soccer team earned their first victory of the season, at home against Texas Southmost College on Saturday afternoon (Sept. 6) in Mount Pleasant. With the win the Eagles, improve to 1-4 on the season. ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ won the contest 2-1.
Men's Soccer earns United Coaches Team Academic Award
The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ (ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ) Men’s Eagles Soccer team has been honored with the prestigious for the 2024–25 academic year.
Weeks of Welcome events planned Sept. 15-18
ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ will celebrate the start of the fall semester with its annual Weeks of Welcome, beginning Monday, September 15. The event series is designed to help students, faculty, and staff connect, build community, and launch the academic year with Eagle pride.

Tenth year of Texas Heritage National Bank Scholarships

For the tenth straight year, Texas Heritage National Bank, originally the National Bank for Daingerfield, has provided signal Presidential Scholarships for top students of the ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ Honors program.
And this year, for the first time, it has provided not just one, but two such scholarships.
Whatley Center kicks off season with RokDox concert Sept. 13th
The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts is excited to open its new season with a Sounds of Northeast concert featuring RokDox, an electrifying classic rock horn band, on Saturday, September 13th, at 7:30 p.m. This high-energy show will showcase iconic hits and dynamic performances from this talented group of musicians. Tickets are $20 for adults and $5 for students.
