Thomas and April Bliss establish ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ scholarships

Thomas and April Bliss recently presented the ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ Foundation with $2,000 to establish two scholarships. The Sharon Bliss Memorial scholarship is in memory of Thomas? mother,†who had a long career as a respiratory therapist.†This scholarship†will benefit a student studying health sciences at ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ. The Bradyn Dawn Loy Memorial Scholarship†was established†in memory of the Mount Vernon High School student and friend of the Bliss family who passed away last year.

ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ Golf Classic ends in a tie

The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ Golf Classic raised more than $7,000 for the ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ Foundation this year.† The tournament, held at the Daingerfield Country Club, consisted of eight six-person teams.† There was a two-way tie for first place between the Daingerfield Country Club Team and the team from Guaranty Bank and Trust. The tie breaker was settled on a score card play-off that was won by Daingerfield Country Club.
