Robert Arellano Foundation gives $2,000 for scholarships

TRMC Auxiliary gives ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº scholarships

The Titus Regional Medical Center (TRMC) Auxiliary recently presented the ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº Foundation with $4,500, which will provide six $750 scholarships to benefit students at ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº majoring in a health sciences field. The Rotary Club of Mount Pleasant recently presented a check for $2,536 to the ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº Foundation to support the upcoming iCan Kids Discovery College that will be held this summer. The scholarship fund is in memory of Kaye?s grandmother, Hettie Agnes Crosby, and will be awarded to an education major attending ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº. Texas Heritage National Bank sponsors Honors Northeast scholarship

Texas Heritage National Bank recently presented the ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº Foundation with $4,000 to sponsor a Presidential Scholar in Honors Northeast. The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº honors program was founded in 2007 and has attracted top high school graduates from around the region. ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº Foundation raises more than $7k on East Texas Giving Day

ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº Foundation participated in East Texas Giving Day Tuesday to raise money for emergency scholarships to provide much-needed assistance to students in distress.† ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº employees, foundation board members and community friends gave generously during the event, with gifts totaling $7,115.

The Woodmen of the World organization recently presented a check for $25,000 to the ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº Foundation.† These funds will be used to establish The Beau Brummell Woodmen of the World Endowed Scholarship, which will provide an annual scholarship for a local student attending ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº each year. The Pineywoods Iris Society recently held a meeting at the Elizabeth Hoggatt Whatley Agriculture Center at ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº. The group presented a check for $500 to the ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº Foundation in order to provide a scholarship for an ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº agriculture student.
