Registration for the spring 2015 semester is currently underway at ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ. Students may also register for the holiday intersession term.
Underground leak causes heating outage at ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ
ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ maintenance staff are working to restore heating to the campus †ahead of the Arctic blast that will bring freezing temperatures to the area this week. All campus heat was shut down Monday while temporary repairs were made on a chiller loop leak in the Learning Resource Center.
"Leaks like this†are becoming more frequent. The pipes beneath the campus are deteriorating and breaking at an alarming rate," Dr. Brad Johnson, ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ President, said.

Bond election update
ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ received unofficial election numbers Tuesday night that indicated that Proposition 1 failed and Proposition 2 passed.†The College†received†several updates today that might affect the results of Proposition 2.†It is our understanding that such changes are not unusual and often go unnoticed by the public unless the race is a tight one.
German class enjoys cultural meal
Students in German 1311 learned German table customs in class today: saying ?Guten Appetit!? to fellow diners, or lifting your glass & saying ?Prost!? Germans, like other Europeans, eat with the fork in the left hand and the knife in the right hand,†and don?t switch back†and forth like Americans; and they don?t put ice cubes in their drinks. New Mathways Project underway at ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ
The New Mathways Project (NMP) is all about student success in achieving career goals. The program is a statewide effort that provides opportunity for students to enroll in a college-level statistics course in only one semester. To be eligible, students must qualify for enrollment in developmental mathematics at the level of beginning algebra or above. Eighteen students are currently enrolled in the two New Mathways courses this fall.

Women's Soccer headed to playoffs
The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ (ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ) Women?s Eagles Soccer†team†is headed to the Region 14 Tournament with a record of 8-6. The Lady Eagles? first playoff game will be on Thursday, Oct. 30 at Navarro. The Women split their games last week, picking up a victory against Paris Junior College and dropping their game against Hill college.
