EMS Program has moved

The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Program has moved to a new location on campus. Faculty offices and classrooms are now located in the Instructional Annex building as follows:

Adult Ed offers free GED, ESL classes

The Adult Education Department at ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº is accepting new and returning students for its GED (General Educational Development) and ESL (English as a Second Language) programs. Those interested in participating in either of these free educational programs should call to make an appointment for registration.  While classes are offered in various convenient locations around the area, all registration will be held at the Community Resource Center (formerly MPISD Administration Building) at 105 N.

Work4College holds annual luncheon

     ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº held its annual Work4College Scholarship lunch on Wednesday, Aug. 3 on the ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº campus. The event, which brought together more than 200 students, supervisors and donors, was the culmination of the summer scholarship program. It was sponsored by Mr. and Mrs. Richard Perryman, who are longtime supporters of ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº.

McGraw-Hill poster winners travel to Texas Shakespeare Festival

The two top winners of the 2022 McGraw Hill Poster Contest at the Whatley Foyer in May received a free trip, ticket and lunch, 28 July, to the Texas Shakespeare Festival in Kilgore, Texas. Together with Honors Director Dr. Andrew Yox, Skylar Fondren, and Victor Diaz saw Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew in an afternoon production.
