The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº Art Department hosted an artist reception with Frank Herbert on Wednesday in the Whatley Center foyer. Herbert's art will remain on display in the Whatley gallery through Thursday, September 21st. The exhibit is free to view during regular college business hours.

Perla Guzman of Mount Pleasant has become the 2023-24 Texas Heritage National Bank (THNB) Scholar of ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº. The $3,000 scholarship provided by the bank goes this year to the top-rated incoming Presidential Scholar of the ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº Honors Program. Guzman will inherit this prestigious designation from other previous vanguard students of ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº.
