Women’s Soccer defeats Richland College

The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº women’s soccer team turned in a dominant performance on the road, defeating Richland College 4–1 on Saturday night. The Eagles controlled the pace from the opening whistle and never looked back, securing an important victory, heading conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

Freshman striker Kirsheema Ince had a standout performance, recording a hat trick to lead the ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº attack. Ince opened the scoring in the first half and added two more goals after the break to put the game firmly in the Eagles’ control.

Police Department swears in Daniel Madden as newest officer

The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº (ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº) Police Department officially welcomed its newest officer, Daniel Madden, during a swearing-in ceremony held on campus this week.

Chief of Police Russell Radke administered the oath of office to Officer Madden, who was then presented his badge by his training officer, Sergeant Greg Hollingsworth. ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº President Dr. Kevin Rose followed by presenting Madden with his official certificate of commission.

Summer graduation planned for August 15th

ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº will host its August 2025 commencement ceremony on Friday, Aug. 15th in the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at 7 p.m. Seating is limited, so only guests who have tickets will be admitted into the auditorium. Graduation will be streamed live on ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº Website and for those who are unable to attend in person.
