ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ (ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ) hosted the third Rodeo of the NIRA Southern Region at the Mount Pleasant Rodeo Association arena this past week, October 9th-11th.
ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ’s Industrial Technology Training Center is excited to welcome students this fall as part of the very first Northeast Texas Career Alliance (NTCA) classes! This new partnership brings together Chapel Hill CISD, Paul Pewitt CISD, Hughes Springs CISD, and Daingerfield CISD to give students the chance to explore careers in Industrial Technology while still in high school.
ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ (ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ) is now accepting applications for its nursing programs. Prospective students can apply for both the Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) and Licensed Vocational Nursing (LVN) programs. Applications will be accepted through February 1.
Chef Brandon Rodriguez, a 2011 graduate of ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ with an Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts, later earned his B.S. in Hospitality & Culinary Management from The Art Institute of Dallas. His culinary journey began at just 14, when he started as a dishwasher under his father, who has more than 40 years of experience in the kitchen. Inspired by those early moments in the restaurant, Brandon knew he was destined to become a chef.

The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ Rodeo is in full swing, with plenty of action still ahead through Saturday at the Mount Pleasant Rodeo Association Arena.
Friday’s competition kicks off with slack events — including Tie Down Roping, Ladies Breakaway Roping, Steer Wrestling, Goat Tying, and Team Roping — beginning at 9 a.m. The excitement continues Friday night at 7 p.m. with a full rodeo performance featuring both timed events and rough stock.
The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ Men's and Women's Soccer Programs are proud to announce their newly remodeled soccer complex.
The redeveloped, fan-friendly facility features a front entry portal to greet fans, a wrapped food truck / concession stand, awnings to protect the faithful from rain and sun, a railing separating the fans from the playing surface, updated, branded windscreens and scoreboard, world cup style goals and nets, bench coverings for the players and coaches, as well as a new permanent sound system and a flag pole.
The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ men's and women's soccer programs, in conjunction with the United Soccer Coaches Association, will be hosting the annual Kick Out Cancer fundraising and awareness games on Tuesday October 14 and Friday October 17 at the Eagles Soccer Complex on the campus of ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ, in Mount Pleasant, Texas.

The cornhole tournament at ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ’s 40th Anniversary Community Picnic drew 13 teams for an afternoon of friendly competition and fun.

ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ celebrated a major milestone on Saturday as around 1,000 people came out to campus for the 40th Anniversary Community Picnic. The event was filled with fun, laughter, and community pride as families, alumni, students, and friends gathered to mark four decades of ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ serving Northeast Texas.
