Dwain and Linda Blount sponsor Work4College scholarship

The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº Foundation recently received a donation from Dwain and Linda Blount of Mount Pleasant. Their gift will be used to sponsor a student in the Work4College Program. Pictured (from left) is Dwain, Linda and Mason May, Director of Work4College. There are currently 81 students participating in the summer Work4College Program. College closed July 4th

ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº will be closed on Friday, July 4th in observance of the Independence Day holiday. The college will resume regular hours on Monday, July 7th. 

Students may still access online courses, register, make payments and manage other college business at . The second 5-week summer session begins Monday, July 14th and students can still sign up for classes.

First EagleGanza event was held this week

ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº welcomed a great group of incoming students to campus this week for the first EagleGanza event of the summer. The full-day experience gave participants the opportunity to meet faculty and staff, connect with other new students, and take care of important enrollment steps like advising, testing, financial aid, and registration—all in one place.

Monse Rivero-Sanchez wins $16,000 PTK Board of Trustees Excellence in Leadership Scholarship

ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº student Monse Rivero-Sanchez has been awarded the 2025 Phi Theta Kappa Foundation Board of Trustees Excellence in Leadership Scholarship, a prestigious national honor that includes a $16,000 award toward her continued education. She is the first ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº student ever selected for this highly competitive scholarship.

Adult Ed offering free GED NOW accelerated course this summer

ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº (ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº) is now enrolling students in its new GED NOW program—a free, accelerated 6-week course designed to help adult learners quickly earn their GED and transition to college or a career pathway.

Baseball plans high school showcase camp

The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº (ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº) Baseball program will host a High School Showcase Camp on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at Eagle Field at Bob Baker Stadium. The event is open to high school students (grades 9-12) and college transfers interested in taking their game to the next level.

Check-in begins at 12:30 p.m., with the camp starting promptly at 1:00 p.m. Participants will have the opportunity to demonstrate their skills in front of the ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº coaching staff and will receive a written evaluation at the conclusion of the session.
