Carroll Shelby Foundation gives $25,000 for scholarships

Pleasant Sams club gives scholarship

Tonya Taylor gives nursing scholarships

Tonya Taylor,†Assistant Professor of Nursing at†ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ, recently gave $1,200 to the ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ Foundation to provide two scholarships for nursing students. The gift was given in memory of Margie Bragg, an ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ Nursing graduate from Mount Pleasant who worked in the field for many years. Jackie Baker gives $10,000 scholarship

Jackie Baker of Mount Pleasant recently gave $10,000 †to ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ in order to create an endowed scholarship for the Eagles baseball program. The donation is in memory of her late husband, Bob Baker, who was a long-time ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ board member and was very influential in starting the Eagles baseball program. Texas Pioneer Foundation gives $200,000 to three-college consortium project

Representatives from Kilgore College, ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ (ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ) and Texarkana College recently gathered on the ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ campus in Mount Pleasant to receive a $200,000 grant from the Texas Pioneer Foundation. The three colleges were awarded the money to†support the†creation of a†consortium†to promote student†success and†college efficiency.

The consortium was organized as an innovative way to upgrade to a new student information system as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible.

Lions Club of Pittsburg donates scholarship
