Fine Arts Club of Mount Pleasant gives scholarship

The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ Foundation recently received a $500 gift to benefit a student majoring in fine arts. Bestselling author Laura Schroff speaks at ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ

Bestselling author and motivational speaker, Laura Schroff, spoke at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts this week. The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ Foundation sponsored the event as part of its annual Distinguished Lecture Series. Schroff shared the inspirational true story behind her book,†An Invisible Thread, which shot to the top of the New York Times Bestseller List after its release in 2011. After the lecture, Schroff visited with guests and signed copies of her book.
