XYZ Club gives $1,000 for scholarship

The XYZ Club of Mount Pleasant Recently donated $1,000 to provide a scholarship to a student at ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº. The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº Eagles soccer program will hold tryouts for both the men's and women's teams on Saturday, March 10. Women's tryouts are at noon and the men's tryout is at 2 p.m. on the ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº soccer field. Eagles Softball win six, drop one at Murray State tourney

The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº Eagles softball team used strong hitting and a never-say-die attitude to earn a six-game winning streak at the Murray State Softball Festival over the weekend. The Eagles won their first six games at the tournament before dropping the final contest to finish the weekend 6-1.

The Eagles entered the weekend tournament in Tishomingo, OK with a 5-9 record but came away from the tourney with a season record of 11-10 after coming from behind in four of their six wins.

The Eagle hitters crushed the ball all weekend as the team scored 53 runs while batting .341 with 43 RBI.

Theatre Northeast presents Love Letters March 2-4

Boy meets girl. Girl writes boy. Girl and Boy correspond throughout their lives. That more or less sums up the romantic comedy,†Love Letters, by A. R. Gurney, to be presented by Theatre Northeast on March 2-4 at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts on the ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº campus.

Friday and Saturday (March 2 and 3) shows begin at 7:30 p.m. and the Sunday, March 3 performance will be at 2:05 p.m.†Tickets are $7 for adults, $5 age 17 and under and $3 for senior citizens, ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº faculty and staff.

ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº office recently announced that students may now request official transcripts online through the ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº Campus Connect system.




While students have been able to print unofficial transcripts for some time, official transcripts still required a written request until now. The new system allows students to log into their Campus Connect account via the myEagle portal (at ntcc.edu) and complete this process online.
