ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ is asking area residents and businesses to join them in celebration of GenTX Day on Friday, May 2. To participate, all Texans are encouraged to wear their favorite college t-shirt on May 2. The goal is let the new generation and others know they are supported as they make college decisions and become career ready.

Spring Ag Fest, which was held on Saturday, March 29, †gave guests of the ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ Farm an opportunity to follow a ?treasure map? of areas of interests that could generate a wealth of sustainability on their own farm operations.

Communities In Schools of Northeast Texas (CIS) is proud to announce its 25th anniversary as Northeast Texas' leading dropout prevention program. At a time when one in three high school freshmen are at risk of not graduating, Communities In Schools has achieved 25 years of success in helping students stay in school and prepare for a successful future. CIS will commemorate the occasion with a number of public education and promotional events throughout the next week.
Softball splits against Bossier, Kilgore
The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ Eagles (ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ) softball team†split two against Bossier Parish and Kilgore College†over the weekend and†dropped a doubleheader against Trinity Valley Community College on Wednesday.
Trinity Valley put the first one on the board during Wednesdays first game, the Eagles scored their first run during the fourth and Trinity Valley put three on the board during the fifth. The Eagles answered with four runs in the fifth, two off of a double by Kelsey Moulder and two off of a home run by Alizabeth Autrey.
