On Monday October 7, at 12:30 the Choctaw Nation’s Cultural Outreach program will be coming to the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts on the ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº campus. Tribal members will share stories and the dances that tell those stories in the Whatley’s large foyer. Some of those dances will be interactive, and the entire presentation is sure to be engaging and entertaining.
ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôºâ€™s Phi Theta Kappa chapter will be hosting the performers as part of their exploration of regional folklore and stories. The event is free to attend and the public is welcome.
The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº Professional Driving Academy continues to grow and supply high-demand CDL drivers to the local area. Two new students recently graduated from the program. ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº is excited to announce that the Annual Backyard Bash Cookout is just around the corner, and it’s going to be an event you won’t want to miss! It will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 17th at 6 p.m. at the Eagle Athletic Complex. All student, faculty and staff are invited to this fun, free party.

Abbie Rutledge and Dillon Williams joined Coach Jon Evan's staff at ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº in August of 2024.
Rutledge came to Mount Pleasant after serving as a student assistant at her Alma Mater LSUS in the spring of 2024 as well as a club role coaching with CABOSA. Rutledge will serve as assistant to both the men's and women's programs and will play a significant role in strength and conditioning and will be involved in all aspects of both teams.
