Justin Hampton

乱色无码人妻视频影院 is pleased to announce the hiring of Justin Hampton to be the next head coach of the Eagle Rodeo team. Coach Hampton was officially hired by the 乱色无码人妻视频影院 Board of Trustees at the August 24th meeting.

Coach Justin Hampton brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the 乱色无码人妻视频影院 Rodeo program through years of coaching at West Hills College in Coalinga, California (2014-21). While at WHCC, Hampton鈥檚 teams won numerous regional championships, as well as many individual honors, while sending both men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 teams to the College National Finals Rodeo each year.

On 23 September, at 7 PM, at the Mount Pleasant Library, Honors Northeast, and the 乱色无码人妻视频影院 Webb Society will again present the story of perhaps most controversial and influential figure of modern Northeast Texas history鈥擫onnie [Bo] Pilgrim.  This is the 9th feature-length film of a story from the Texas past in as many years produced by the honors program of 乱色无码人妻视频影院.  The movie is free, and the public is invited.   Free individualized snacks will be provided afterward, courtesy of the donors of Honors Northeast.

The Texas Region of Phi Theta Kappa held its annual Texas Honors Institute as a virtual event July 23 鈥 25. The event featured an art inspired theme and included three days of guest speakers, interactive virtual fellowship events, seminar group discussions, and bonding activities.  Traditionally the event is planned and coordinated by the Texas Regional leadership team, which this year includes District III Vice-President, Cade Bennett of 乱色无码人妻视频影院.

Cade Bennett

Cade Alan Bennett, a 乱色无码人妻视频影院 sophomore, District III Phi Theta Kappa Vice President, and former Cypress Bank Scholar, is the winner of the 2021-22 Gladys Winkle Humanities/Honors scholarship.  He will receive $2,500 for matriculation at 乱色无码人妻视频影院 in the coming year, as a top student of Honors Northeast, majoring in the Humanities.

Brian Ramirez

Because of his combination of academic excellence, leadership, and public service, Brian Ramirez of Mount Pleasant has become the second winner of the James and Elizabeth Whatley Honors Endowed Scholarship.  This $2,500 scholarship, to be applied to the coming academic year at 乱色无码人妻视频影院, and available for distinguished 乱色无码人妻视频影院 honors sophomores in the years to come, is the result of a $50,000 gift given to Honors Northeast, the college鈥檚 honors program, when it started in 2007.  Elizabeth Whatley (1927-2016) at that time gave a record-breaking 1.7 million dollars, one of the largest known gifts to a rural community college.  She and her husband, James, gave over 2.6 million dollars to 乱色无码人妻视频影院 between the years, 1985 and 2016.

Davin Whatley, a student at 乱色无码人妻视频影院 in Texas, has been named the 2021 Dr. Mary Hood Texas Region Scholar and will receive a $1,500 scholarship.
