The ��ɫ����������ƵӰԺ Firefighter Academy proudly recognizes its 21st graduating class. The academy, which commenced in January and concluded in July, has equipped a new group of firefighters with the essential skills and knowledge to protect and serve their communities.

The ��ɫ����������ƵӰԺ Work4College Program is so much more than just a job! In addition to doing meaningful work on campus, W4C students also take a class that covers a variety of topics that help them as they transition into adulthood. This week students focused on learning proper etiquette for dining and formal social situations. 

The ��ɫ����������ƵӰԺ Professional Driving Academy continues to grow and supply high-demand CDL drivers to the local area. Two new students recently graduated from the program. The ��ɫ����������ƵӰԺ Alumni Association is officially accepting applications! The membership fee is only $5 and you can be among the founding members. Not only will it help you stay in the know about what’s going on at ��ɫ����������ƵӰԺ, you can also network with others and get involved.

Three incoming ��ɫ����������ƵӰԺ honors students witnessed Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar in an afternoon production on 11 July.  They traveled to the annual Texas Shakespeare Festival in Kilgore. Donors of Honors Northeast and of the college,Jerald and Mary Lou Mowery made the visit possible.  The students drove from ��ɫ����������ƵӰԺ and back with Dr. Andrew Yox, honors director.

Kids Discovery College 2024, held from July 8 to July 18, was a vibrant hub of activity and excitement for young learners in the community. The camp brought together children from diverse backgrounds, offering a perfect blend of educational enrichment and fun-filled experiences.

Throughout the camp, participants engaged in a variety of activities, from hands-on science experiments and creative arts to outdoor adventures and team sports. The children not only

��ɫ����������ƵӰԺ was busy this Thursday as more than 35 new students were on campus for EagleGanza.

It is hard to believe that ��ɫ����������ƵӰԺ’s Work4College Program is celebrating its 10-year anniversary this summer! When the program kicked off a decade ago with just 14 students working on the college farm, we had no idea the impact it would come to have on our campus and the lives of countless students. This summer we have 89 participants who are WORKING hard to EARN their college education.  

The ��ɫ����������ƵӰԺ Industrial Technology Training Center (ITTC) in Mount Pleasant is expanding its robotics training capabilities! Daniel Harvey, a student who is working at the ITTC as part of the Work4College Program this summer, is pictured mounting two U Factory Lite 6 robotics arms at the center.
