Jerald and Mary Lou Mowery (pictured left) recently gave a $1,300 gift to the ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ Foundation. The funds will be used for the ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ Whatley Employee Enhancement Fund, specifically for the Honors program to help with their production of a film based on the life of Harriet Potter Ames, the Feminist Legend of the American Revolution, and with the Presidential Scholars Program for their research and documentation of the Caddo Collection owned by ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ.

The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ Foundation recently held its annual golf tournament at Princedale Country Club in Pittsburg. This was the 26^th†consecutive year of the tournament. Participating teams included: AEP/Swepco, American National Bank, Daingerfield Country Club, Bowie-Cass, Cypress Bank, Guaranty Bond Bank, Luminant, Northeast Texas Credit Union, Texas Heritage National Bank, and an ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ team sponsored by East Texas Wealth Planning Advisors.

 

The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ Foundation recently received a $500 scholarship from the Pleasant Sams, the Mount Pleasant Chapter of the Good Sam Club of America. This year?s gift will benefit a student studying criminal justice at ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ. †Nita May, ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ Director of Development (seated far left) and Dr. Jonathan McCullough, ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ Vice President for Advancement (standing far left) receive the gift on behalf of the ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ Foundation. Television's hit show†Duck Dynasty†is headed to ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ. Phil Robertson, the Duck Commander himself, and his youngest son, Jep,†will speak on the ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ campus on Saturday, April 6. The event will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
