Representatives from ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ and Texas A&M University-Texarkana recently met at the ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ campus to sign a Reciprocal Articulation Agreement that will assure continued local access by ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ students to Texas A&M-Texarkana degrees.

Tuesday evening, the ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ (ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ) Board of Trustees unanimously appointed Bill Ratliff, former Lieutenant Governor of Texas, to the board of trustees.

The Galveston College Whitecaps managed to remain undefeated in the Region XIV Baseball tournament as they defeated Blinn College 2-1 in 13 late-night innings. This was the fourth game of the tourney to require extra innings. The game lasted around four hours and finally wrapped up around 2:30 a.m.

Galveston will move on to face San Jacinto on Wednesday at 5 p.m. in a fight to remain undefeated in the tournament. Blinn will face Alvin College at 1 p.m. on Wednesday.

Blinn got on the board first thing, scoring one in the top of the first.
