Joe Don Mashburn spent his entire life working in agriculture and a group of friends, family and colleagues are keeping his memory alive by sharing his passion with future generations of farmers and ranchers. Texas Heritage National Bank recently created a $25,000 endowed scholarship fund at ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº to provide financial support for students in the ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº Work Scholarship Program.

Men's soccer remains undefeated, ranked 10th in the nation

The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº (ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº) Men?s Eagles Soccer team†kept their†undefeated record intact after†knocking off both Eastern Oklahoma State College and Murray State College this†past†week. The team was named tenth in the nation by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America in the September 2 poll.

Women's soccer kicks off season with a win



The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº (ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº) Women?s Eagles Soccer team kicked off their season with a win this week defeating Eastern Oklahoma State College 3-1 on Wednesday.

Eastern Oklahoma put their first and only point on the board at 15-minutes into the first half. Ruth Rosales scored the first goal for the Eagles 15 minutes later and Michelle Butron assisted McKenzia Goedicke, pulling the Eagles into the lead 40 minutes into the game.

The $500 gift†is designated for the new†Work Scholarship Program†at ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº. Northeast to offer small engine repair class

Are you new to small engines and just don't know where to start? If so, the ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº Continuing Education Department has an upcoming course for you. Small Engine Repair for the Beginner will be offered on Thursday nights from September 25 through November 13. The class meets from 6:00-8:30 p.m. at the Pittsburg High School Career and Technology Building.

Four-cycle theory is the heart of what makes a small engine tick.

ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓÆµÓ°Ôº will be open from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Aug. 23 to assist students with registration for the Fall †2014 semester. Students will have the opportunity to meet with academic advisors, access computers to register online, make payments and receive help with financial aid.





The College Store will also be open during this time to allow students to purchase books and other supplies.
