Who is required to complete orientation?
All transfer students who have earned LESS than 12 credit hours and all first time college students are required to complete orientation. If you took dual credit courses before high school graduation, you are still required to complete orientation upon graduation.

All Northeast students have access to orientation and are highly encouraged to review it, but only those who fit the categories listed above are required to complete orientation to finish their admissions process.

TRIO Upward Bound

Northeast Texas Upward Bound is dedicated to helping students navigate the path to higher education. We provide the academic support, encouragement, and real-world experiences students need to graduate high school and thrive in college鈥攁nd beyond.
 

Federal TRIO Programs

The Federal TRIO Programs (TRIO) are Federal outreach and student services programs designed to identify and provide services for individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds. TRIO includes eight programs targeted to serve and assist low-income individuals, first-generation college students, and individuals with disabilities to progress through the academic pipeline from middle school to post baccalaureate programs.  乱色无码人妻视频影院 currently hosts two TRIO Programs.

Financial Aid/Veteran's Specialist

  • Support students throughout their academic journey by assisting with financial aid and reconciliation, guiding them through admissions and enrollment processes, serving as the main contact for veterans鈥 education benefits, and providing help with registration, FERPA, orientation, degree audits, and online enrollment.
  • Other tasks as needed.

Student Services Specialist

Description of Job Duties

  • Facilitate students' seamless enrollment by offering comprehensive assistance throughout the entire process, including admissions, document requirements, financial aid, and more.
  • Address inquiries and provide guidance on registration, orientation, academic plans, and advisement referrals, as well as online enrollment activities.
  • Skillfully manage tasks related to transcript requests, updating personal information, scheduling changes, withdrawal processes, verifications, and FERPA form submissions.
