The ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ Foundation recently received a donation of $2,000 from the Northeast Texas Biker?s Church.†These funds will provide two $1,000 scholarships for criminal justice or police academy students attending ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ this fall.†Pictured at the check presentation is: (from left) James Aydelott, Roger Keck, Dr. Jonathan McCullough, ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ Vice President for Advancement, Jeff Martin, Janet Reeves, scholarship recipient, and Dominic Crescimanno. The scholarship was established in memory of Robert Arellano, a respected and decorated law enforcement officer and motorcycle enthusiast who served the community for several years. Arellano was killed in an accident about two years ago while riding back from a dinner ride with some friends. Friends and family have created the ?Robert Arellano Dawg Fest? rally in his memory to help raise funds for his scholarship, as well as a local charity helping children in need. For more information about Dawg Fest, visit†. To learn more about his or other scholarships at ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ, contact McCullough at 903-434-8115.
