Dr. Ron Clinton, 乱色无码人妻视频影院 Executive Vice President for Instruction, will perform a solo piano recital on Sunday, March 22 at鈥2:30 p.m. at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts.鈥燭ickets to the concerts are $10 for adults and $5 for children and 乱色无码人妻视频影院 students with a current ID. Proceeds from the event will benefit scholarships for 乱色无码人妻视频影院 students.
The concert will feature selections by Beethoven, Mozart, Schubert and Chopin.
?Dr. Clinton is a phenomenal pianist and we are thrilled to host his concert at the Whatley Center. He is a reminder of the tremendous talent that resides right here in Northeast Texas,? Carolyn Franks, Director of the Whatley Center, said.
Clinton joined the 乱色无码人妻视频影院 faculty when the college opened in 1985,鈥爐eaching music, humanities, and philosophy鈥燽efore joining the administrative team.鈥燩rior to his time at 乱色无码人妻视频影院, Clinton performed extensively throughout the United States, Asia and South America as a concert pianist, appearing as guest soloist with symphony orchestras in Houston, Austin, Lubbock, South America, and the Republic of鈥燬outh Korea.鈥 He received his Doctor?s Degree from the University of Texas at Austin in Piano Performance where he studied with William Race and performed in master classes with such notable artists as Augustin Anievas, Claude Frank, Anton Kuerti, and Leon Fleisher.
In addition to his work at 乱色无码人妻视频影院, Dr. Clinton has also served as ?artist in residence? at Mokwon University in Taejon, South Korea and has been a faculty member at the Conservatory of Music at the University of Southern Chile in Valdivia, Chile where he taught piano, served as guest conductor of the Conservatory Orchestra Austral de Chile, and performed concerts throughout the country, including performances at the prestigious International Frutillar Music Festival in southern Chile.鈥 His solo and chamber music performances have been recorded and broadcast over PBS stations throughout the鈥燯nited States.
