† † †ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ learned last week that it has been named one of the top ten community colleges in Texas by the website schools.com. ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ was ranked number eight on the list, which cited †the college's low student-to-faculty ratio, on-campus housing and availability of an on-campus bachelor's degree partnership with Texas A&M-Texarakana as factors that set it apart from other schools.

† † †ÂÒÉ«ÎÞÂëÈËÆÞÊÓƵӰԺ was the only east Texas school included on the list. The website ranked Texas two-year institutions using six data points including distance education enrollment, total cost of attendance, student-to-faculty ratio, graduation rate, the number of transfers to four-year public colleges in Texas and flexibility.
