The Continuing Education Department at 乱色无码人妻视频影院 offers a variety of learning opportunities for members of the community. From personal enrichment classes to training for a new career, there are many non-credit options to choose from.鈥
"There are a lot of benefits to enrolling in continuing education classes at 乱色无码人妻视频影院. Our basic course rates are very affordable and students don't have to go through the formal college application process," Teresa Wooten, 鈥犅疑蘼肴似奘悠涤霸 Director of Continuing Education and Corporate Training, said.鈥
In addition to courses for individuals, the 乱色无码人妻视频影院 Continuing Education Department also offers customized training for businesses. This can include everything from food handling and safety certification to computer classes.鈥
"We try to be flexible in our programming. The world moves quickly and we want to help our residents and local businesses keep up with changing technologies," Wooten said.鈥
The following courses will be offered through the continuing education department beginning in January:
Aikido:鈥犫赌An introduction to the Japanese martial art.鈥犫赌燦o prior experience necessary.鈥犫赌燤eets鈥6:00-7:30 pm on Tuesday and Thursday evenings in the FIT Center beginning January 17.鈥 Instructor: Sensei Ann Finch
Basic Firearm Safety:鈥Recommended for the novice or one without recent experience with handguns and/or for those planning to enroll in a Concealed Handgun License class.鈥燤eets鈥6:00-9:00 pm on Thursday, January 12,鈥at the Criminal Justice Center.鈥 Instructor:鈥 Boake Slape
Beginning Excel Spreadsheet:鈥 This 3-week class offers a complete survey of Microsoft Excel introductory skills. Meets 6:00-9:00 pm on Thursday evenings at the Industrial Technology Training Center in Mt. Pleasant beginning January 26 or Tuesday evenings at the Hanson-Sewell Center in Pittsburg beginning January 31.鈥 Instructor:鈥 Linsey Harwell
Certified Nurse Aide:鈥This 9-week course is designed to prepare students to take the state certification test with NACES.鈥燙lasses are scheduled to begin Tuesday, January 24.
Country Western Dance-Beginning:鈥Learn how to 2-step, 3-step, the country waltz, and the cowboy cha-cha.鈥燩artner not required. Meets鈥6:30-8:00 pm on Thursday evenings at the Hanson-Sewell Center in Pittsburg beginning January 26.鈥 Instructor:鈥 Carolyn Anders
Concealed Handgun License:鈥Learn basic firearm safety, Texas concealed handgun laws, choosing a weapon and holster, and shoot/don?t shoot scenarios.鈥燤eets鈥8:00 am-7:00 pm on Saturday, January 14, at the Criminal Justice Center.鈥 1:00-7:00 pm for recertification.鈥 Instructor: Boake Slape
CPR for Healthcare Provider:鈥 This 8-hour class is designed to provide basic CPR certification for healthcare professionals or students who plan to pursue a healthcare occupation.鈥燤eets鈥8:00 am-5:00 pm on Saturday, January 28.鈥 Instructor: Casey Sanders
Electrician Mandatory Update:鈥鈥This course provides a review of the latest edition of the National Electrical Code including notable code revision as well as electrical licensing requirements and state laws and rules that regulate the conduct of licensed electricians.鈥 This course is required to be completed every year prior to license renewal.鈥犫赌燤eets鈥6:00-10:00 pm on Monday, January 9, at the Industrial Technology Training Center in Mt.
